Giggling About Racism

The Conservative Right in America continues to tumble headlong down a path into the depths of racism and hate. Ann Coulter has long since joined Sarah P on the podium of dangerous mediocrity but the Right, so desparate for another self-congratulatory high five over the grave of common decency, have little else but the shallow evil snidness of Coulter and other commentators like Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh to add to the debate.

Michael Rowe has it pegged:
"Ann Coulter has made her fortune by generating, fanning, and nurturing hatred and contempt for a variety of people, including liberals, Democrats, gays, foreign nationals, 9/11 widows, feminists, single mothers, Muslims, and any other group she could throw to her disenfranchised readership as shark bait."

In our country today there are choices to be made on a variety of issues; issues that have two sides, but the right prefers sniggering and hate mongering to honest discussion of issues, probably because when it comes to honest discussion, they have no coinage; the right-wing idea purse has already been found to be empty but their cup of human hatred overflows yet.
